HJC ChatterBox GMRS-X1 Noise Reducing Communication System

The HJC ChatterBox GMRS-X1 features a 5 mile communication range capability, 38 talk groups and 15 channels one of which is an emergency channel. This unit will communicate with any other communication system that uses the “GMRS Frequency” (General Mobile Radio Service Frequency). The GMRS-X1 is ChatterBox’s top of the line communication system with a “noise reducing” mic for superior sound quality inside a tough water resistant casing. Here is information regarding the accessories you will need depending on how you want to use this unit. Mounting this unit anywhere besides the helmet requires an X-Series Noise Reducing Headset Extension Cord, belt mounting requires the extension cord and the Belt Clip. Communicating with a passenger requires an X-Series Noise Reducing Headset Extension Cord and an X-Series Noise Reducing Full Face or Open Face Stereo Headset depending on the the helmet style. Audio devices such as CD/MP3 players and iPod’s require the Audio Cord. To connect an audio device directly to the headset when not using the unit requires the Music to Headset Adapter. Maintaining the unit’s charge while riding requires the X-Series Power Filter Cord. ChatterBox offers a cell phone cord for purchase but it does not work with all cell phones.
