Nelson Rigg UV-2000 Motorcycle Half Cover
Sizing Information:
- Available in Three sizes – Prices vary by size:
- MED – 450cc-600cc Bikes
- LRG – 550cc-1100cc Sport bikes or cruiser style bikes with no accessories
- X-LRG – Cruiser style bikes with accessories or full dresser touring bikes
- Use this Fitment Chart as a guide to select the correct cover for your motorcycle
NOTE: Sizing info is for general reference ONLY – The way a cover will fit your motorcycle is greatly affected by luggage, high bars, tall windscreens, and other aftermarket bolt on products. If you think you are in between sizes always go up a size, a cover that fits to snug increases stress on the seams.
The Nelson Rigg UV-2000 Motorcycle Half Cover was reviewed in the July 06’ Motorcycle Consumer News (written by LT Snyder) in a feature to feature comparison against a much more expensive Geza cover. The UV 2000 Nelson Rigg Half Cover came through the comparison with flying colors. This cover is UV resistant and waterproof, the heat sealed seams make it impervious to moisture. Elastic straps are sewn in to the bottom of the cover for attaching around the foot pegs and under the tail. In addition to that there is a separate Velcro strap sewn in for attaching under the headlight. This cover is resistant to hot exhaust pipes and will keep the unexposed parts of your motorcycle dry even in heavy rain. We offer the much less expensive Nelson Rigg 900 Series Covers, but they are a very light weight material that wouldn’t be suitable for extended outdoor use.
