The Firstgear Nylon Saddlebags have some nice innovations that aren’t available in other saddlebags. The left saddlebag has a mesh pocket and the right saddlebag has a solid lined pocket, also each saddlebag has Two internal quick release straps for securing your cargo. The saddlebags both expand and have Two exterior quick release compression straps for stabilizing each saddlebag while riding in the expanded mode. These features may seem minor but being able to increase your space and stabilize your load can be very helpful. Each saddlebag has an exterior pocket with zipper access, zipper pull tabs on all zippers, a carrying handle, heat resistant base for “momentary” or very brief contact with the exhaust (even with this feature contact with the exhaust should always be avoided). Rain covers are included for each saddlebag as well as bungee mounting cords for securing and anchoring the saddlebags. Just like the Firstgear Tank Bags, the saddlebags have a PVC coating with UV protection to their material, this will help slow down fading and deterioration after prolonged exposure to the sun.
