In my opinion the Tour Master/Cortech 21 Liter Tank Bag is the largest size tank bag you can use without compromising your line of sight. This bag will sit Nine inches from the tank to top of bag in the position shown above (not expanded). This bag will sit Thirteen inches from the tank to top of bag in the expanded position (click the “View Larger Pictures Link” to see). The map pocket is removable/replaceable, and a rain cover is included. The magnetic mounting base allows for quick on and off, and the 1680 Denier Ballistic Nylon exterior can stand up to just about anything. We also offer this bag in the Strap Mount version which has quick release buckles that attach the bag to the mounting base, these buckles make for quick on and off as well (personally I like magnetic better). There really isn’t an advantage to having magnetic mount or strap mount, they both will fit securely on your tank (obviously if your tank isn’t metal you want to go with the strap mount). The size of this bag will allow you to pack enough for a one night stay (if you aren’t a heavy packer). Like all Tour Master/Cortech bags, quality, function, and style, the 21 Liter has it all.
