The Tour Master/Cortech Mini Strap Mount Tank Bag is ideal for motorcycles with non-metal gas tanks or riders who prefer a strap mount tank bag over a magnetic tank bag. This mini strap mount tank bag is also available in a magnetic mount version which is shown below. In my opinion it’s much easier to just throw a magnetic mounting tank bag on your bike and go, but here are some reasons why a “strap mount” type tank bag would be necessary. If you are concerned that a magnetic tank bag might come off while riding, a strap mount bag is for you. If your tank is shaped such that the magnetic flaps of a tank bag do not sit flush in all areas it contacts your tank, a strap mount tank bag is for you. If your tank is plastic or something other than metal (preventing a magnetic mounting tank bag from sticking to your tank) a strap mount tank bag is for you. The expansion zipper allows for an increase in carrying capacity by about Two inches in height. The reflective piping lights up pretty good, but I still believe that having reflective material on the rider or bike is far more effective.
