Firstgear Silverstone Mini Magnetic Tank Bag

Firstgear has been a manufacturer of high quality motorcycle apparel for many years. New for 2007 from Firstgear is their Silverstone Luggage line up which has a really cool look featuring Two-Tone fabric and Carbon Fiber look panels. The Silverstone Mini Tank Bag has a PVC coating with UV protection in the material, this will help slow down fading and deterioration after prolonged exposure to the sun. This tank bag features a magnetic mounting system with a non abrasive, non slip material on the underside, you also have the option to purchase a quick release strap mount mounting base for use with non metal tanks or for riders who prefer strap mount tank bags. The straps sticking out from the tank bag shown above are the hideaway straps that are used to connect to the quick release strap mount mounting base making this tank bag work on non metal tanks, base sold separately in the drop down menu. The top exterior pocket has a clear view window so it can be used for not only maps but electronic devices as well, there is also a rear exterior pocket for additional storage, it can expand adding another 1-1/2 inches in height, internal organizer inside the main compartment lid that has a separate cell phone pocket with a Velcro closure. A shoulder strap is included as well as the rain cover. The only downside I can see is that the map pocket is small so it would not be very helpful for most map layouts.
