The HJC ChatterBox GMRS-X1 Bluetooth Rider to Rider Communication System is the first communication system from ChatterBox to feature Hi-Fi noise reducing stereo headsets in full or open face styles (at this time the Hi-Fi headsets are not sold separately) with a range of up to Five miles, 38 talk groups, and 22 channels one of which is an emergency channel. This unit will communicate with any other communication system that uses the “GMRS Frequency” (General Mobile Radio Service Frequency). Here is information regarding the accessories you will need depending on how you want to use this unit. To mount this unit anywhere besides your helmet you will need an X-Series Noise Reducing Headset Extension Cord, if you plan to mount the unit on your belt you will also need a Belt Clip. To communicate with your passenger you will need an X-Series Noise Reducing Headset Extension Cord and an X-Series Noise Reducing Full Face or Open Face headset depending on the helmet your passenger uses. To listen to an iPod you will need the iCombi AP21 Adapter. To use a GPS or MP3 Player you will need the iCombi AG12 Adapter. You can connect an audio device directly to your headset when not using the unit with the Music to Headset Adapter.
