Our Two Cents
If you have ever been ripped off, you know the importance of a “good” bike lock. In my opinion, “disc lock” style locks are safer than a chain or cable lock (those styles are easily cut with bolt cutters). On top of that, these are much smaller and easier to carry with you while riding. One huge bonus to the new “Lil Bully” Disc Lock is that one of the Three keys that comes with these locks. This key will light up at the push of a button like a little flashlight for nighttime/lowlight removal of the lock, also included is the carrying case. This lock was one of the best bargains we could find. Honestly, I could not pass up the “lighted key” feature. The reason for Two sizes is that some motorcycles have a smaller hole in the disc, so you would have to use the 5.5mm lock. If you are unsure, just get the smaller one because it will work just as well, even if the hole is slightly bigger. Another product from “Bully” is the Disc Lock Reminder shown below. I won’t even go into why this is important (I think you already know).
NOTE: ALWAYS remove your disc lock before riding!!

The disk lock fits my GS500F's rotors perfectly and the Rapid Transit Bradley bag fits well too. The straps on the tank bag are a bit of a pain due to the way the seat is attached to the frame, but it's an inexpensive way to bring my water bottle... (Read more...)
