The black wire is the negative or ground. The yellow wire is the positive or live. These signals will work with three wire running light systems, just DO NOT connect the bikes positive running light wire. Designed to work only on 12 volt systems. These lights are not a substitute for DOT approved lighting; misuse of these units is not condoned by BikeMaster.
