After trailering bikes over the years, I have found a few things that can reduce the odds of an accident happening. If your bike’s front tire is inside a wheel chock in an enclosed trailer, then using a wheel tiedown on the front will be sufficient. If your bike is in an open trailer with good locations to put the wheel tie down through the front and the rear tire, then use both tiedowns that are provided and keep your bike secure while traveling.
